How is it even possible that your post so accurately describes so many pastors today?

Jolley. I think his reaction is in fact a confirming element to a to a true calling. If there is not fear and trembling, there will be carelessness resulting in the false and damning. May the Lord raise up such men who are fearful before him. May the Lord cover us in Grace and understanding when we handle his word rightly, and forgive and correct us when we fail. Godly teachers quake at the possibility of being found false. False teachers will read through the above list and see everyone but themselves. Godly teachers will read through it and be convicted by all the little ways in which their own fallenness makes it to the surface in their teaching.
